Another Planet Events is the private concert booking, production and event design arm of esteemed San Francisco Bay Area concert promoter Another Planet Entertainment (APE). Decades of experience booking and producing shows for top talent allows Another Planet Events access to the world’s leading artists for first-class private concert experiences for corporate and private clients.

Another Planet Events is a member of the International Special Events Society, Northern California Chapter, and the San Francisco Travel Association.

Meet the Team

Danielle Madeira oversees Another Planet Entertainment’s special events department, Another Planet Events, binding the company’s ongoing relationships with talent agents, managers, and artists to the private and corporate sectors.

Danielle is a skilled relationship-builder, establishing and maintaining critical partnerships with corporate luminaries like Dropbox, Apple, LucasFilm, Pixar, Pandora, and Google. Her efforts helped cultivate the successful relationship between APE and the Las Vegas Downtown Project, whom together produce the award-winning Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas. In 2017, Danielle was recognized as one Billboard’s Women in Music Five Executives on the Rise.


Peter Franco’s wide-ranging musical talents have seen him tackle performance (he studied music in college and toured extensively as a bass player in his early 20’s), touring sound (as lead engineer for bands like Toto, Melissa Manchester, Paul Williams, Harry Belafonte, Bauhaus, and eventually, Daft Punk), and recording engineering (including Daft Punk’s Alive 2007 and 2013’s smash Random Access Memories). He’s a five-time Grammy Award winner whose recent work includes engineering drums on Tycho’s 2016 Grammy-nominated release, Epoch, producing and engineering the upcoming full-length from The Gama Sennin, and mixing MexFutura’s debut album.

Over the course of 18-plus years, Colby Jones has worked every type of event imaginable: craft shows, weddings, indoor and outdoor festivals, tech conferences, private house parties, political conventions, and everything in-between – a natural fit for the daughter of a singer/songwriter, immersed from day one in the science of putting on a show.

Colby’s extensive experience house managing San Francisco theaters, overseeing large-scale events for clients like Facebook and Hewlett Packard as Event Supervisor at Fort Mason Center, and managing front-of-house operations at the revamped Curran Theatre led to work as a house manager, production assistant, and operations assistant for Another Planet at the Outside Lands, Clusterfest, and Life is Beautiful festivals. She has since become the Event Director at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, deploying years of know how for high-profile clients like Samsung, Audi, Salesforce, Rakuten, Netflix, Apple, Twitter, and many more.

Melissa Yeung graduated with two bachelor’s degrees in science, but quickly found her real passion was in the events and entertainment industry. Soon after arriving in San Francisco, she landed at Yoshi’s Jazz Club in the Fillmore, gaining invaluable experience in marketing, artist hospitality, and event production.

Years of hospitality experience coupled with a laundry list of skills honed as Events and Production Manager at 1015 Folsom (where she worked with top-tier clients like Instagram, Google, Twitter, Salesforce, Sports Illustrated, Red Bull, and more) has helped Melissa develop a wide network of vendors and creative teams, as well as a unique and personal understanding of how to not just manifest, but amplify, her clients’ unique visions.
